Hello, my name is Jennifer. I was asked to join Mallard Creek Family Dentistry as Practice Administrator in 2008. With 17 years of medical and dental experience, I was glad to find a place I could call home.
Drs. Rogers and Gustafson's vision of treating patients like family is what made me want to be a part of this amazing team. They encourage a warm and friendly atmosphere that is not found in all dental practices. I think it shows through the relationships that we build with our patients. I can honestly say that I have never been prouder of any doctors or staff that I have ever worked with. Everyone who is part of this team is the best at what they do! It is comforting to know that all of our patients really are in the best hands, each and every time they come for a visit.
I have always had a passion for helping people obtain the smiles that they deserve and need. I am here to listen if you have any suggestions on how we can make your visits exceptional.
My husband, Cristhian and I have two mini schnauzers, Hunter and Darling, and a cockapoo, Oakley. I enjoy cooking for family and friends, scrapbooking, hiking, gardening and traveling. I am excited to be starting a family this year through adopting an older child.
Hi, my name is Suzette. I became a Dental Assistant in 1982. Since joining Mallard Creek Family Dentistry in 1998, I have been happy to use my previous experiences. It has been extremely helpful to have a background in oral surgery, implant restorations and an education in the arts when it comes to more complex cosmetic and functional cases. MCFD is not a job, it is a family! It is great to be involved with up-to-date restorative and cosmetic procedures.
I spend much of my time with my 19 year old son, who is a student at UNCC.
Hi, my name is Jenny. I have been a Dental Assistant for 18 years. I came to Mallard Creek Family Dentistry after I moved here from St. Louis in 1998. I appreciate that we have a very friendly and pleasant atmosphere. The whole staff, including the doctors, will make you enjoy coming to your dental visits.
My husband and I are very busy with our six children and two cats. I love sports, especially cheering on my St. Louis Cardinals. But I am torn between the Panthers and the Packers! I really enjoy boating, gardening and just about any outdoor activity.
Hi, my name is Julie. Seventeen years ago I became a sterilization tech while I was studying at CPCC. I always knew that I wanted to pursue a career in the administrative aspect of dentistry. In 2000 I joined Mallard Creek Family Dentistry as the Hygiene Coordinator. I have really enjoyed laughing and joking with patients.
I love going to the mountains with my family, cooking and reading. I enjoy volunteering at events such as Give Kids a Smile, Operation Christmas Child and Harvest Food Bank.
Hello, my name is Stefanie. I came to Mallard Creek Family Dentistry when I moved to Charlotte from Hickory in 2001. I attended UNCC and then went to Western Piedmont Community College for Dental Assisting Certification. One of my favorite things about us is we love to make people smile. During my 12 years as a Dental Assistant, I have learned to use my calm manner to help relax even the most anxious of patients.
I enjoy trips to the mountains and going to concerts. I am very excited about my participation in church and spending time outdoors.
Hello, my name is Sabrina. After receiving my Bachelors in Business Management, I felt a strong calling to dental hygiene. In 2001, I became part of Mallard Creek Family Dentistry as a Registered Dental Hygienist when I relocated from Virginia. I like to have fun with our patients; going to the dentist should not be a bad experience!
I am an animal lover and have two toy Poodles, Prince Edward and Prince Junior (aka PJ). I enjoy playing tennis and spending time with my family at Smith Mountain Lake, Va.
Hi, my name is Megan. I graduated from the University of Pittsburgh and have been a Registered Dental Hygienist for 11 years. I joined Mallard Creek Family Dentistry in 2003. I enjoy working with the doctors and staff. We are like one big happy family.
My husband Carl and I have a 3-year-old son. I enjoy Carolina Panthers Football and Pittsburgh Panthers Basketball. I am a Relay For Life Team Member. But my all time favorite thing to do is cheer on the West Rowan Falcons football team-who hold the record for the nation's most games winning streak-46 consecutive wins!
Hello, my name is Patti. I have been with Mallard Creek Family Dentistry since 2006 as Insurance Coordinator. I am able to utilize my 10 years of dental experience and my education from Fox Business College to help exceed our patients' expectations every day. I love that the relationships we form with our patients are truly sincere!
My family is so important to me. I have two teenage daughters that never cease to amaze me. I am so proud of their accomplishments. I like to read, hang out with my girls and margaritas!
Hello, my name is Miranda. I became the Sterilization Technician in 2007 after completing a DA I training program. In my 4 years at Mallard Creek Family Dentistry, I have continued to gain many skills to become a great Dental Assistant. I have received additional training to become the official Patient Photographer!
I love that we are one big family here and that everyone has helped me to continue to learn new skills.
I have been married for four years. My husband and I have two dogs, Cuffs our Basenji and Harley our English Bulldog. I enjoy doing outdoor activities with my husband and friends. This past year I participated in the USMC Mud Run,The Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Run and the Thin Blue Line 5K.
Hi, my name is Emily. I have been a Registered Dental Hygienist for eight years and joined Mallard Creek Family Dentistry in 2008. If I only had one thing to say about MCFD, it is that there is great patient care.
I am very passionate about periodontal care. My goal is for all of our patients to have healthy gums!
I keep extremely busy with my two children and my Jack Russell. I love all animals and really enjoy spending time in the outdoors!
Hi, my name is Dawn. I attended Central Piedmont in Charlotte and graduated in 2004 with National Board Certification. I joined the team at Mallard Creek Family Dentistry in 2009 as a Dental Assistant and have been an Assistant for seven years. I think MCFD is a fun place to work. The Doctors and Staff truly care about their patients.
I enjoy spending time with my husband and 3-year-old daughter. I also love traveling with my family. In my free time I like to shop and read books. My husband and I are expecting a new addition to our family this fall!
Hi, my name is Kerry. I became part of the team at Mallard Creek Family Dentistry in early 2010 as a Registered Dental Hygienist. I have been a hygienist for 10 years. I am very conscientious and thorough. I enjoy the time I get to spend with my patients and educating them about their dental health.
My husband and I enjoy spending time with our two girls and are looking forward to another child joining our family in June. We also have a cocker spaniel, Sprocket. I have practiced Ashtanga Yoga for many years, and I am taking piano lessons.
